Belgravia Health & Leisure is seeking a motivated and experienced Health Club

Coordinator to oversee BActive Health Club and grow the health and fitness

operations at East Fremantle Community Park — a vibrant hub for sport, leisure,

and community engagement.

 

The Role

 

Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Health Club Coordinator will lead the delivery

and performance of all health and fitness programs including Functional Training,

Reformer Pilates, Group Fitness, and Personal Training.

 

A core focus of this role is driving membership growth and improving member

retention through strong engagement strategies, high-quality programming, and

exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with the Sales & Guest

Experience team to maximise direct debit memberships, reduce attrition, and

create a strong sense of community within the health club.

 

About You

You are an energetic, organised, and hands-on fitness professional who thrives in a

fast-paced environment. You are passionate about health and wellbeing, enjoy

leading teams, and have a strong focus on delivering exceptional member

experiences.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging health and fitness programs that drive strong member attendance
  • Oversee Functional Training, Reformer Pilates, Group Fitness, Exercise Physiology, and Personal Training programs
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of fitness staff and coaches 
  • Collaborate with the Group Fitness Coordinator to deliver innovative and high-quality programming
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating safely
  • Maintain compliance with all legislative, health, and safety requirements
  • Drive membership growth and achieve direct debit revenue targets
  • Manage program budgets, income, and expenses
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, participation, and service delivery

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Fitness or Diploma in Fitness
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar health club or fitness leadership role
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive performance and engagement across multiple programs

Desirable

  • Reformer Pilates qualification
  • Degree in Exercise & Sports Science or Physical Education
