The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Group Fitness Coordinator to work with our great team to head up the group exercise department. 

This is a full time position. With many exciting program developments ready to launch be part of the future of Group Fitness at this iconic facility.

Does this sound like you?

• Experienced instructor with group exercise.
• The ability to work independently with flexible hours
• Have an understanding of group fitness programs and the timetable and develop the classes and their instructors.
• Ability to recruit instructors.
• Monitor existing instructors and evaluate the program regularly.
• Help develop instructors by providing training and leadership
• Able to relate well with staff and members.

Skills & Attributes:

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, or Group Exercise Instructor (GEI).
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or equivalent
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Les Mills and Pilates )
• Working with Children's Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
