This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic individual looking to lead our health club team and drive members achieve their goals. The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Group Fitness Coordinator to work with our great team to head up the group exercise department. This is a full time position. With many exciting program developments ready to launch be part of the future of Group Fitness at this iconic facility. Does this sound like you? - Experienced instructor with group exercise.
- The ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Have an understanding of group fitness programs and the timetable and develop the classes and their instructors.
- Ability to recruit instructors.
- Monitor existing instructors and evaluate the program regularly.
- Help develop instructors by providing training and leadership
- Able to relate well with staff and members.
Skills & Attributes: - A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, or Group Exercise Instructor (GEI).
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or equivalent
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Les Mills and Pilates )
- Working with Children's Check
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
