The Role Belgravia Leisure is the proud partner to numerous regional councils across NSW. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, people focused Business Operations Manager (BOM) to lead a team of venue managers of tourist/ holiday parks, and aquatic and leisure facilities across regional NSW. This role oversees a significant regional portfolio comprising 8-12 venues, including tourist parks, holiday parks, aquatic centres, and leisure facilities, supported by a workforce of a few hundred seasonal and permanent employees. You will manage a multi million dollar operation, ensuring strong commercial performance, operational excellence, and high-quality guest and community experiences across all sites. This role will be directly reporting to the General Manager of Operations and is designed to provide leadership and guidance as you oversee the financial management and commercial decision making of a group of facilities to achieve or exceed agreed results. In this essential leadership role, you’ll drive financial and strategic operational plans, maintain high-value internal and external relationships, and identify growth opportunities. This role calls for a highly motivated and autonomous professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for guest experience, and a demonstrated history of achieving financial and operational success. About You You will demonstrate a successful track record in data-driven decision making across either: marketing, sales, contract compliance and effective management of key stakeholders, including the community, Councils and Belgravia to drive the success. Inherent in the role is the commitment to ethical practices, to foster strong team motivation and reinforcement of the partnership values. To be considered for this role you will be a seasoned and professional manager, who leads with vision and energy, with extensive experience in commercial/ business management, preferably from within the leisure, fitness, aquatic, tourism, or facility management sector. The ideal candidate will be able to share insights into how you have successfully shaped high performance teams in your career. You can easily articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance. Community & Contract Deliverables; oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent guest experiences. Business Development/Growth; build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders and execute contract retention plans Risk and safety governance Contract governance and reporting Regional stakeholder influence Capital works oversight
Key Skills: Demonstrated financial analysis capabilities Multi-site, or multi-unit business complexity management At least 10 years’ experience managing a consumer sales / operations function Budgeting skills Demonstrated track record for achieving agreed financial outcomes Able to adapt management interventions to varying circumstances Demonstrated capability for managing a team effectively and maximising efficiency from limited resources
