Hepburn Pavilion Café in Hepburn Springs is seeking an experienced and passionate Café Supervisor to join our team full-time.

Nestled in the heart of spa country, our café is known for its warm hospitality, great coffee, and relaxed yet professional atmosphere. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences while supporting and inspiring their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, and support Kitchen team.
• Daily Operations: Oversee smooth day-to-day service, including opening and closing duties.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Staff Management: Create rosters, uphold workplace safety, and assist with food and beverage preparation when required.
• Financial Accountability: Manage cash handling and contribute to the café’s front-of-house performance and efficiency.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role.
• Proven barista skills and a passion for coffee and café culture.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach to service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.

Essentials:

• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR
• Current Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• Food Handling Certificate
• Legally entitled to work in Australia
