The Site

 

Sugarworld Adventure Park is spread across 7 acres of lush historical parkland shared with beautiful peacock birds, Sugarworld Adventure Park boasts all the modern facilities. Our water park has a number rides and attractions including water slides, pools and an interactive aquatic play and a newly built 9 hole mini golf course. We are gearing up to re-open our water park from 14th September 2024 The park is open Weekends, Public Holidays and School Holidays from 10am to 4.30pm. 

 

The Role

We have multiple customer based roles including Customer Service Officers (who will also act as Slide Attendants) to join our fantastic local water park.

 

Our CSOs are required to assist our patron with their queries related to the venue. We require people that like to be of help to others and always have a smile on their face. Their can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills will set them up for success. You will also be required to assist at the kiosk by selling food and beverages to our guests. Those with a RSA licence and barista qualifications would be a plus but is not required to be a successful candidate for this role. 

 

As a Slide attendants, you will assist in ensuring safety regulations are followed by our patron when using the slides. You will be required to monitor the top of the slide and ensure all patrons ushered to the slide in an orderly manner. 

 

Casual positions available for 15-20 hrs per week. We will be paying our wonderful team members via the Amusement & Entertainment Award. If you are fun & energetic - look no further! 

 

Previous experience preferred however not necessary. 

 

About you

You understand that our customers are coming to the venue for a great day out and you are keen to be part of that enjoyment. You are reliable and understand the required hours are weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods. 

 

Skills & Attributes:

  • Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers 
  • Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Basic operation of Microsoft Office
  • Promote the centres services and programs to our patrons
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
  • Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
  • Current First Aid Certificate desirable 
  • Current CPR Certificate desirable
  • Blue Card: Police Check & Working with Children Check / Blue Card (if over 18 years old)

*If you do not have the above certificates, you must be willing to obtain them immediately to secure employment with Belgravia.
