An exciting opportunity to manage a holiday park in beautiful Southwest Victoria.

 

The Location

Located in Southwestern Victoria on the doorstep of the Great Otway National Park and close to some of Victoria's most-loved natural attractions, The Holiday Park is nestled lakeside between beautiful botanical gardens, flowing creek and bird sanctuary this site is proudly to be managed by Belgravia Pro.

 

Guests enjoy their stay via our newly installed Studio Cabins, Caravans, RVs, Motorhomes, Campervans, or Tents in a powered or un-powered site. All situated on landscaped grounds with facilities and services.

 

The Role

The Park Manager is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of the park in accordance with the relevant documentation and for the maximum benefit of all stakeholders including property owners, guests, staff, and the company.

 

Level 5 Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020, with provision of a powered site – must have own van. (Provisions may be arranged if you are able to reside within minutes of the park and able to attend to afterhours call outs when required)

 

Baseline roster 7 days on 2 days off midweek, Uniform and safety wear provided, laptop & mobile phone provision

 

About You

A Holiday Park individual who is hands on, highly customer focused, commercially minded to drive business development and a creative flare for local marketing and community engagement. Equally passionate about tourism, environment and culture whilst delivering exceptional guest first experiences.

 

You will be friendly, enthusiastic with a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and be part of a team. You are energetic with a hands-on approach, attention to detail and guest first experience approach. You possess proven experience in a similar role and available to work a flexible roster over a 7–10-day roster cycle including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

 

Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience in a similar single person operation role 
  • Familiarity with RMS 9+ computerised booking system and good computer skills 
  • An energetic and enthusiastic, hands-on approach 
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Grounds and Maintenance experience 
  • Cleaning experience and Cabin presentation to a high standard
  • Willingness to learn and apply our systems and processes
  • Managing and rostering a small team 
  • Well-developed communication, organisation, administration, and management skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders in a professional manner 
  • Availability to work across a seven- or ten-day roster which may include public holidays, weekends, early mornings, and evenings.  

Essential

  • Holiday Park / Tourism experience
  • First Aid Level 2 and Current CPR
  • Current Australian Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Working with Children's Check or equivalent
  • Australian Driver's Licence

  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead and supervise teams
  • Be accountable for the financial outcomes of the business
