The Role

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a passionate and experienced Aquatic Services Coordinator to lead and inspire our swim school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll help shape the future of our aquatic programs and create exceptional experiences for our community.

As Aquatic Services Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality programs, providing strong leadership to your team, and driving a culture of service excellence and innovation. You’ll play a key role in planning and organising lessons, identifying opportunities for new initiatives, and ensuring that every student feels supported and motivated in their swimming journey.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement and promote the GOSwim program in line with Belgravia standards

  • Drive processes and practices to ensure the success of the GOSwim program

  • Support delivery of business plan objectives and events calendar

  • Assist with incident and accident investigations as required

  • Achieve KPIs including financial performance, school participation, and retention

  • Maintain high NPS and mystery shop results in line with Belgravia Leisure standards

  • Manage budgets and prepare timely reports

About You

You’re passionate about swimming and the progression of students, with the ability to engage and inspire people of all ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. With excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset, you naturally build strong relationships and foster a positive, inclusive environment.

 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Swim School environment

  • Proven ability to lead and support a team

  • Strong alignment with our values: integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership, and accountability

  • Confidence to step in and deliver swim classes when required

The Qualifications

  • National Police Check
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent)
  • Current Swim Certificate - Teaching of water swimming and water safety
  • Swim extension certificates (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous Swim School Coordinator Experience
  • Strong people leadership with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia
