About the Role

We’re excited to welcome a motivated and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our high-performing team of four EPs at Yawa Aquatic Centre. You’ll receive ongoing face-to-face mentorship from a Senior Exercise Physiologist and step into a role with an existing client waitlist, setting you up for success from day one.

Our facility is home to over 5,200 members with more than 800,000 visitations annually, creating a vibrant and dynamic environment. You’ll work across a diverse client base including chronic disease management, NDIS, injury and post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as general health and wellness populations.

We take pride in our patient-centred, outcomes-focused approach to clinical care. Our AEPs also foster strong local stakeholder relationships to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. This position starts with part-time hours of 18 per week, with a pathway to full-time as your client load builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based exercise interventions and education for clients at risk of or managing chronic health conditions and injuries
• Prescribe tailored clinical exercise programs for clients with complex medical needs Provide ongoing support, health education, and guidance to enhance overall wellbeing Facilitate small-group rehabilitation and wellness classes
• Build awareness and promote Exercise Physiology services within the centre and local community
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic client outcomes

Successful applicant must have or be eligible as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia
