About the Role

As a Venue Manager, you will:

• Be the heartbeat of your facility – driving team culture, customer experience, and operational excellence
• Lead, coach and inspire a passionate local team
• Oversee all aspects of pool operations – from staffing and budgets to safety and community engagement
• Work closely with Council and stakeholders to ensure the Centre exceeds expectations
• Deliver high-quality programs and create an environment where your team and community thrive

What We’re Looking For

You’re a natural leader with a drive to make a difference. You bring energy, adaptability, and a big-picture mindset. You understand the link between employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and great business results.

Essential:

• Proven leadership experience in aquatics, recreation, sport or leisure
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of health & safety practices
• Experience in managing budgets, programs, and people
• Current First Aid & CPR (Level 2)
• Blue Card
• Australian working rights

Desirable:

• Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Pool Operations Certificate
