The Role We are seeking applications for an Aquatics Operations Coordinator to work across 3 of the Wakefield Regional Council portfolio of pools which include: - Balaklava Swimming Pool
- Owen Swimming Pool
- Hamley Bridge Swimming Pool
These are seasonal pools - open from November to the end of March next year. The Aquatic Operations Coordinator's primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements. Essential Skills & Attributes: - Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
- Ensure the team are fully qualified and adhering to the company's qualification policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications: - Pool Operator Certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
- Legal working rights in Australia
