The Role

Our Café/Kiosk Attendants need to have the highest level of customer service skills. The primary responsibility of our Café/Kiosk Attendants is to deliver first class services to our patrons ensuring it’s in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.

 We are looking for school hours coverage as well as weekends.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers 
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenished condiments as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promote the centres services and programs to our patrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods

Skills & Attributes:

• Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
• Coffee making/ barista skills
• Food handling Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Blue Card
• Ability to be flexible during the centre's peak periods

The Site

Belgravia Leisure has been newly appointed as the management contract partner for the Mackay Regional Council's Bluewater Lagoon.

The facilities include three interconnected lagoon pools - all with lifeguards on duty, a waterslide, shaded areas, and dedicated family spaces. The venue provides a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors of all ages. With stunning views and convenient amenities, Bluewater Lagoon is an ideal place to relax, cool off, and enjoy the region’s tropical lifestyle. Entry for the visitors is complimentary. 

As Belgravia Leisure are also the contract partners for Mackay Regional Aquatic Centre (MARC) and Pioneer Swimming Pool - you may be required to work across all three pools are part of your roster.
