This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic individual looking to lead our health club team and drive members achieve their goals. What you bring? We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Gym Instructor to join our dynamic team at the Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with diverse client groups, including beginners, athletes, older adults, and those with specific health goals. Our Health Club thrives on community, results, and innovation—so we’re looking for someone who can bring energy, professionalism, and a personal touch to every shift. You’ll be expected to contribute to the overall member experience with a proactive attitude toward member engagement What we want? You’ll receive gym floor hours to build rapport with members and showcase your expertise. We provide leads to help you convert members into long-term clients, giving you a strong foundation to grow yourself within our brand. You’ll also have the opportunity bring your unique style and programming to life within our Health Club. Whether you're looking to expand your or refine your skills, we offer the tools, support, and flexibility to help you thrive. Key Accountabilities - Run an on-boarding program (training provided)
- Grow gym floor engagement with members
- Maintain and upkeep gym floor and equipment
Skills & Attributes - Knowledge of current health & fitness procedures and practices.
- Personal Training with a variety of different clientele.
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well-developed communication skills.
- Certificate IV in Fitness (Cert III desirable)
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can-do attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
