Learning Resource Developer
VIC, Belgravia Activities - Melbourne 300

The Role

 

Do you have a knack for developing engaging learning and assessment content, regardless of the subject? Can you develop online learning and assessment resources as well as hard copy?

 

Belgravia Academy is on the hunt for a Learning Resource Developer to develop and maintain our vocational education products, as a pivotal part of our team.

 

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our curriculum documentation and our online learning management system; engaging with subject matter experts and trainers for content updates and new implementations; and developing support materials, all within the compliance requirements of a Registered Training Organisation.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop and produce high quality online learning and assessment content and resources that are relevant, on time, learner focussed and mapped to nationally recognised units of competency and other training.
  • Ensure curriculum is interactive and engaging using instructional design principles, adult learning theory, technological tools and techniques.
  • Maintain and update our library of learning material, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practice.
  • Continually improve and update existing resources, by supporting validation activities.
  • Engage and manage relationships with subject matter experts, trainers and administrators to gather feedback and communicate changes effectively.
  • Recommend an approach for each program, considering scope of work and outlining expectations for delivery with stakeholders.
  • Source and compare learning and assessment resources from other providers when required and recommend preferred suppliers.
  • Source and recommend tools and technology to improve the quality of our resources.
  • Support trainer professional development initiatives and assist with managing our learning management platform.
  • Support continuous improvement processes through stakeholder consultation and feedback.
  • Recommend and develop appropriate documentation and support materials to support learning requirements such as user guides, PowerPoint presentations, checklists, policy and procedural documentation and workshop activities.
  • Work with our systems (Microsoft suite and aXcelerate) to ensure materials are effectively housed, quality controlled and maintained.
  • Contribute to and document processes that support our departmental documentation and resource development activity.

  • Working with Children Check (or equivalent)

Belgravia Academy (RTO 45497) is part of the Belgravia Activities business and supports the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group one of Australia’s fastest growing leisure organisations in Australia. The RTO is an Enterprise RTO – meaning it exists to serve its own people. Now we are expanding our programs and services to further support Belgravia and provide our programs and services beyond Belgravia.
