Belgravia is comprised of multiple businesses, our core areas of business include health clubs, programs, tourism, wellness, destination spa reports, golf, aquatic and sporting venues in 250+ locations across Australia and New Zealand (and expanding!). We are in an exciting period of growth and looking for a talented Centre Manager for BKs Gymnastics in Cheltenham, Melbourne VIC to assist with taking our organisation into the future. We are focused particularly on programs for children at various levels aged between 1 – 12+ years. The Role The Gymnastics Centre Manager at BK’s Gymnastics Bayside, is accountable for the overall success of their business unit, meeting or exceeding financial budgets and membership KPIs set out in the annual plans and business budgets. The Centre manager drives a safe, inclusive and positive culture of memberships, service and operational excellence through great planning and staff mentoring and training. The successful applicant will be available for either weekend/weekday evening hours, as required by the centre’s time-table requirements. Key accountabilities - Ensure the venue operates efficiently and profitably, aligned to our Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure great customer service for both participant and parents
- Achieving or exceeding the centres operational and financial budgets through effective strong member growth and careful cost control
- Build the business by ensuring membership retention and growth, by effectively planning and execute promotions and events as per marketing/business calendar
- Maximising profitability, create membership and participation target • Increase capability of staff to contribute effectively to a great culture
- Responsible for recruiting, training and onboarding staff • Resolving customer/parent queries and complaints with a ‘customer first’ attitude
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation – for staff and customers – adhering to all child safety standards
- Preparing localised/organic marketing, promotional plans and community outreach to drive memberships
- Liaise with the Gymnastics Coaches to ensure the preparation of quality, safe and innovative gymnastics programs Essential:
- Knowledge of the gymnastic industry
- Knowledge of child gymnastic programs
- Gymnastics qualifications
- Customer Focused and be aligned to our CLEAR values (Customer focused, Leadership, Excellence, Accountability, Results)
- Financial management experience
- Strong business and sales acumen
- Passionate about Community and children’s development
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check (upon onboarding)
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
