The Role East Fremantle Community Park are looking for a Group Exercise Coordinator to lead our team of Instructors and launch our Group Exercise Program to the Community. The ability to communicate and interact effectively with participants that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. Demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable member of the team. About you - Do you love teaching Group Exercise Classes?

- Are you looking for a part-time opportunity - 15 hours per week minimum for GEC duties plus facilitate classes yourself at class rates!
If yes, then this is for you! In this position you'll be growing a vital part of our health club – GROUP EXERCISE! As the Group Exercise Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will be: - Achieving growth in Group Exercise attendance
- Recruiting, mentoring & ongoing assessment of Instructors
- Creating Launch Timetable and seasonally adjusting Group Exercise Timetables (Live and Virtual)
- Collating Instructor Invoices
- Preparing Social Media posts to promote Group Exercise
- Communicating with the Instructor Team about Club Promotions
To be successful you must: - 3+ years’ experience in teaching Group Exercise Classes
- Be willing to work closely with the Health Club Coordinator and State Health & Wellbeing Manager to ensure Group Exercise Program meets KPIs
- Be friendly, and personable with members and colleagues
- Be certified in a minimum of 2 Les Mills Programs
- Have completed an AIM1/AIM2/Advanced Training in a minimum of 1 Les Mills Program
- Have a passion for Group Exercise
- Desire to grow attendance of Group Exercise Classes
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be able to work autonomously and be great with time-management
- A strong understanding of the English Language
- Be competent in using Excel (training will be provided)
Highly Desirable: - Qualification and experience in Reformer Pilates
- Understanding of the local East Fremantle area
- Les Mills Presenter experience
- Large network of Group Exercise Instructor contacts
