VIC, BK Gym - Hoppers Crossing 3029 The Company Belgravia Kids (BK) is the latest venture for the Belgravia Group and the realisation of a clear goal from Belgravia founder, CEO and Chair, Geoff Lord: "To positively impact the lives of a million Australian Children each year through physical activity". The Centre BK established it's first gym in Melbourne's western suburb of Hoppers Crossing in 2018. We now a number of new sites within Victoria and also one in WA. We are growing at a rapid rate due to the overwhelming response we have received since setting up our initial centres. At Belgravia Kids our patrons will experience a friendly and warm atmosphere with coaches that will guide and encourage them. The role The Head Gymnastics Coach is accountable for the overall success of the BK Gymnastics programs, meeting or exceeding the quality standards and customer satisfaction KPIs set out in the annual plans and business budgets. You will drive program excellence and maintain the reputation of Belgravia Kids as a leader of quality children gymnastics programming. You will lead a team of Beginner and Intermediate gymnastic coaches and drive a positive, inclusive culture of safety, sales, service and operational excellence through strategic planning and staff training. The Head Gymnastics Coach is a member of the centre’s leadership group. This is a part time position - Immediate start. Key accountabilities - Achieving or exceeding the gymnastics program’s financial budgets through effective strong member growth and careful cost control
- Developing the gymnastics program into a quality reputable program focused on progression, fun and safety
- Maximising profitability of gymnastics program by setting/meeting sales targets including motivating staff to contribute effectively
- Working with coaches and Program Managers from other venues to continually improve the programs on offer
- Contribute to the recruiting, training, supervising and appraising of staff
- Coordination of gymnastics-related staff training and professional development
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation – for staff and customers – including child safety standards
ESSENTIAL: - Advanced Gymnastics Australia Coach Accreditation
- Knowledge of gymnastic programs, particularly children’s gymnastics
- Customer service mindset
- Strong sales acumen
- Fanatical parent/customer care mindset
- Passionate about children’s development in gymnastics
- Current Gymnastics membership
- Annually updates gymnastics accreditation
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
DESIRABLE: - Gymnastics Australia Presenter and assessor accreditation
- Gymnastics Australia accredited Supervisor
- Knowledge of and experience in developing staff/coaches
- Knowledge of gymnastics levels and the Gymstar program
- Knowledge of child development
