The Role The Marketing Coordinator role will support, coordinate, execute and enhance the marketing for Belgravia Leisure venues across AU/NZ to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing and communications for local projects, events and BAU marketing needs.
This role will work closely with Belgravia Leisure venue teams as well as the Belgravia Leisure (BL) Marketing, Guest Experience, Communications and Digital team to coordinate, execute, enhance, and support marketing initiatives for Belgravia Leisure venues and the central Marketing Department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging content across various marketing channels including digital channels such website, social media, email and traditional channels such as in venue print and signage.
You will also work with other key internal stakeholders across a variety of departments including Health & Wellbeing, Aquatics and Golf, as well as external stakeholders and partners (where appropriate). You will oversee the central venue-based marketing social calendar ensuring content is relevant and engaging, assist in local marketing project, event and campaign development and rollout, lead training sessions to educate venue staff and support general marketing requests.
This exciting role is perfect for someone with 1-2 years' experience in Marketing or for a Marketing graduate ready to dive into various marketing disciplines. Key Areas of Ownership: - Lead and oversee the AU & NZ department support requests and coordinate request responses accordingly.
- Oversee the development and execution of the central venue-based social media calendars.
- Oversee the development of training resources for marketing related platforms.
- Conduct local training sessions to educate and upskill local staff members on key marketing platforms and best practice.
- Support local venue projects, initiatives and campaigns to ensure best practice marketing alongside local/state or central marketing coordinators.
- Support the development of marketing plans and reports for venues alongside local area Marketing Coordinators, where required.
- Conduct regular audits of venue marketing platforms to ensure consistency and on content.
- Support the execution of central campaigns alongside central marketing team, where no dedicated regional resource exists.
The ideal candidate
- Tertiary qualification marketing or similar
- 1-2 years working experience and passion for the marketing industry with an interest in health, wellbeing, recreation and sports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation
- A passion for delivering engaging social media content
- Working understanding of Microsoft Suite
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of working with website content management systems (CMS) (Kentico, WordPress CMS knowledge highly regarded) - Not essential
- Knowledge of working with email and social media marketing tools (Campaign Monitor, MailChimp) - Not essential
- Understanding of digital marketing landscape and trends
