This is a great opportunity for qualified, friendly and skilled Venue Manager to join and lead our aquatics team! .  

The Role 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Venue Manager to lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experience on a part-time or full-time fixed term basis. Responsible for the management of this fantastic seasonal facility, the team at the Centre and our local community, you are accountable for the Centre’s operational, financial and program deliverables for the Summer. 

About You 

Are you an up-and-coming leader, who drives with vision and energy? Are you passionate about leisure, wanting to join a growing organisation? 

Essential Skills and Qualifications: 

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others 

• Excellent communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes 

• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, evacuation and emergency procedures 

• Current CPR Certificate (or ability to successfully complete) 

• Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) (or ability to successfully complete) 

• National Police Check 

• Working with Children Check 

• Legal working rights in Australia 

• Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to successfully complete the course) 

• Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded

We know times are tough out there at the moment for everyone and having to pay for a qualification isn't easy. So if you're still keen to join our company and become a Venue Manager, we will be happy to pay for your qualification. We run lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and swim teacher courses through Belgravia Academy. Our qualified trainers and assessors will ensure you are fully trained and qualified to become a lifeguard.  

 
We are looking for a Venue Manager that is outgoing and dedicated to doing a fantastic job.  You must be great at customer service and able to work independently.
