As part of Belgravia Leisure's 3 year contract with the City of City, we will be the management company for the new Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Zetland, NSW. Gunyama Park is currently under construction and will be the largest single investment in aquatic infrastructure in Australia since the Sydney Olympic Games. Facility to include indoor and outdoor pools, health and fitness centre and covered outdoor yoga deck. It is due to open its doors to the public in May 2020.
Are you passionate about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals and do you want to be part of something new and exciting? Opening in 2020, Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre will be the biggest aquatic centre built in Sydney since the 2000 Olympics.
The role of a pre-sales Membership Consultant is to lead the pre-opening campaign, capitalising on marketing campaigns to promote and attract new members to this iconic facility.
Membership Consultants will be required to generate awareness in the local community, provide information sessions for community groups as well as build, manage and convert from a database of registered potential members.
The successful applicant should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for health and fitness, and enjoy helping people to start their health and fitness journey.
Skills & Attributes:
- Have a passion for fitness!

- Previous experience in a similar position
- A drive to achieve targets
- Industry knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Hold current First Aid & CPR Certification (desirable)
- Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
- Prior experience in fitness, sales, customer service or a retail environment is highly advantageous
