The Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa is an iconic tourist destination and award winning spa located in the heart of Australia's Spa Capital nestled in the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve near Daylesford 90 minutes from Melbourne.

 

The Role

 

Our Receptionists are the heart of our business providing important services such as greeting our regular users and potential new members in accordance with our established operational routines and procedures. The primary responsibility of our Receptionist is to deliver first class service to our members ensuring it’s in line our Mission, Vision and Values. You will also be responsible to assist in our Kiosk and merchandise areas.

 

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone 
  • Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Provide customers inquiring about memberships with information and have the knowledge to sell memberships when a person joins or renews
  • Promote the centres services and programs to customers and accept customer bookings and activity bookings
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with customers
  • Promote and exercise good public relations at all times
  • Ability to up-sell kiosk and merchandise 
  • Be competent in safe food handling practices and apply at all times
  • Meet the requirements of the Food Safety Plan
  • Cleaning of kiosk equipment
  • Participate in in-house training 
  • Maintain currency of qualifications
  • Comply to all OH&S standards
  • Opening/closing of the centre in accordance with security and safety procedures
  • Availability to work weekends and evening are essential

 

Skills & Attributes:

  • NETBookings software experience an advantage
  • Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems
  • Experience in telephone techniques and etiquette

Essential:

  • Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check

Desirable:

  • Food handling
  • Previous experience in retail and customer service
  • Previous experience and knowledge of spa resorts

 

Previous experience is a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset are encouraged to apply!
