VIC, Mill Park Leisure Centre - Mill Park VIC 3082 The Role Our site is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Reformer Pilates Instructor. You will be required to work with our great team. This is a sessional role however the successful applicant will need to be available on a 24/7 basis due to the needs and demands of the facility. Skills & Attributes: - Experienced Reformer Pilates Instructor
- Experienced with group exercise instructor.
- The ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Have an understanding of group fitness programs and the timetable and develop the classes and their instructors.
- Generation and follow up of Clinical Pilates sessions through funded programs.
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, or Group Exercise Instructor (GEI).
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Reformer Pilates)
- Working with Children's Check
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
Previous industry experience is highly regarded! The Site Currently under construction, opening in 2021, The City of Whittlesea have undertaken a major $25 million redevelopment of Mill Park Leisure. The works include: - New state of the art gym and group fitness spaces.
- Three new pools, including leisure pool and aqua play features, learn to swim and warm water pool.
- This compliments the upgraded 25m pool, new, larger spa and sauna and new family and group and school change facilities, as well as improved change options for people with disabilities
- A new café, retail area and reception
- A refurbished crèche
- A landscaped outdoor space with play equipment, barbecues and outdoor exercise equipment
