The Role

 

The primary purpose of the role of Project Officer Retail and Procurement Operations is to support the daily operations, group wide initiatives and specific significant projects across the organisation on national basis. The role reports to the Group Procurement Manager and supports two retail managers.

 

As the Project Officer Retail and Procurement Operations, you will be responsible for a range of operational management, venue transition arrangements, admin and reporting, roll-out of national initiatives and the management of specific one-off retail and procurement projects. This role is fast-paced and varied and offers an opportunity to make a difference on a large scale.

 

Essential to the role will be your ability to communicate effectively and support colleagues and suppliers with a wide range of activities. You will also have excellent negotiation and organisational skills.

 

ESSENTIAL:

  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Relevant industry experience in business operations, business systems, process improvement with a strong emphasis on project management
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Office 365 applications, including Outlook, SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage conflicting interests

DESIRABLE:

  • A working experience in venue management, retail and/or supply chain
