The Role 

The Application Support Analyst is the gatekeeper of our Microsoft Sharepoint and Power Platforms. Put your expertise to work and redesign the way we store documentation, automate workflows, access important information and simplify the end-user experience. Entertain your creative instincts by improving the appeal of our platforms in partnership with our design team.

 

About you

  • Moderate technical knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platforms.
  • Understanding of end-user requirements and issues, and proposed solutions that engage all stakeholders and aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in configuring, importing and exporting data, to interface with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Successfully updated and managed Power Apps and SharePoint forms for local customisations.
  • Effectively liaised with end-users to troubleshoot support requests for Microsoft SharePoint and escalated unresolved client issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Developed close working relationships with key business stakeholders to support and manage reports and dashboards to ensure ongoing solution alignment with changing business needs.

Skills and experience that make you stand out...

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing support to business users, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Commitment to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, developing strong working relationships to achieve the organisational goals assigned to the role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high level technical skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using IT systems
  • Strong administration and time management skills with the ability to coordinate tasks, prioritise and manage multiple concurrent priorities, being responsive to daily ad hoc requests.
  • A customer centric approach with a keen eye for detail and process, to maintain accurate, high-quality, and timely documentation for all steps and activities.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) that translate technical and complex systems into everyday terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply sound knowledge of application technology to meet business requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to communicate, train and work with non-technical users translating technical information to non-technical user groups.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Information Systems related discipline is desirable but experience matters more.
