The role of the Operations Manager - Tourism Portfolio will be responsible and accountable for the management and operation of multiple holiday parks throughout regional NSW as well as utilising your exceptional people leadership skills to lead and motivate a team of Park Managers in this exciting tourism opportunity.
You will be supported by a strong leadership team as you develop and execute operational practices and processes to ensure the delivery of consistent high quality services and experiences at our holiday parks.
This role will be overseeing properties in the Yass region, Eurobodalla Shire and the Blue Mountains with the potential of additional properties throughout NSW.
This position can be based in either Canberra or Sydney.
Workforce planning- drive the recruitment and rostering of park staff
Prepare monthly and annual reports to a high standard in line with contractual requirements.
Create and a maintain a training calendar for staff ensuring 100% compliance with organisational requirements.
Assist with the creation of WHS documentation, including but not limited to Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, Safe Work Method Statements, Corrective Action reports.
Schedule and assist with the completion of WHS audits in accordance with organisational and contractual requirements.
Overseeing and maintaining park websites ensuring that they accurately reflect our services and products, are functional and the information is current.
Review and maintain social media accounts and online booking platforms responding to customer comments and reviews within 24 hours.
Work with onsite staff to create and execute opportunities for community engagement.
Assist with the preparation of the operations manuals for the sites.
Provide relief/ support management for sites as required.
Working with Children Clearance
National Police Check
Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Knowledge of online reservation systems
Certificate III in Tourism or Cert IV in Leisure
Working knowledge of the Tourism industry and Leisure industry
