This is a great opportunity for Slide Attendants who value water safety, love working with people, who want to keep the community safe in our facility.


The Site


Nambour Aquatic Centre is based within the heart of the community, surrounded by lush parklands and boasts all the modern facilities. Our all-inclusive water park has just had an upgrade with the inclusion of 2 adventure water slides due to open to the public September 17th 2022. The facility all provides a 25m warn water pool, 50m outdoor pools, green space for relaxing, kiosk and amenities


The Role


We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Slide Attendants to join the team. Our attendants will be responsible to ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. While assist in ensuring safety regulations are followed by our patron when using the slides. 


You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.


Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with guests and members that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. 


Immediate start! Must be available to work weekends and during school holidays.

Position suitable for school students or persons looking to work a second job.

MUST have current First Aid/CPR certificate and Bluecard (18+ only)


Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills an understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility, ability to work mornings, evenings and weekend.
  •  Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team.
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate Blue Card
