The Role

Our company is seeking a talented WordPress Web Design/Developer to join our Digital team. Reporting to the Head of Digital, this role requires a creative individual who is passionate about designing, developing, and maintaining websites using WordPress and other website CMS platforms along with other members of the marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and project manage web development to meet stakeholder needs and project timelines
• Customise existing themes and plugins alongside our agency partners as requirements
• Build and maintain websites, ensuring that they are optimised for speed and performance
• Create visually appealing elements that follow good UX practices
• Provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot issues when a ticket is raised
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web design and development

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with Shopify, Kentico an advantage
• Experience with customising themes, plugins, and design
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Experience with SEO, UX and design is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field a plus
