The Role

 

The Marketing Coordinator – Venues will play an integral role in the delivery of high-quality marketing and communications for Belgravia Leisure managed venues across Australia and New Zealand, supporting our venue teams with centrally managed communications, training and projects requests.

Within this role, you will work to support digital marketing, end-to-end campaigns, project and event marketing and more.

This role will work within the national Belgravia Leisure (BL) Marketing, Guest Experience, Communications and Digital team to coordinate, execute, enhance and support marketing initiatives for Belgravia Leisure venues and the central Marketing Department. You will be responsible for marketing channels including website, social media, email communication and campaign coordination.

 

You will also work directly with internal stakeholders across a variety of areas including Health & Wellbeing, Aquatics and Golf as well as external stakeholders and venue partners, where required. You will oversee the central marketing social calendar ensuring content is relevant and engaging, assist in local campaign development and rollout, support marketing requests and lead training sessions to educate venue staff.

 

About you

As the first point of contact for our department, we are looking for someone who thrives with process driven approaches and loves building relationships, providing support and organising priorities. Leading the coordination of projects and requests from venue staff on behalf of the department, you will be excited at the opportunity to open the door for our teams and venues to help them execute new exciting marketing opportunities.

Key Areas of Ownership:

  • Lead and oversee the department support requests and execute and coordinate requests accordingly.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the central marketing social calendars and website updates.
  • Oversee the development of training resources for marketing related platforms.
  • Conduct local training sessions to educate and upskill local staff members on key marketing platforms and best practice.
  • Support local venue projects or initiatives to ensure best practice marketing alongside local/state or central marketing coordinators.
  • Support in the development of marketing plans for venues (alongside local area marketing coordinator, where appropriate).
  • Conduct regular audits or venue platforms (socials/websites) to ensure consistency and on brand content.
  • Support the development and execution of central campaigns alongside Marketing Manager or other Marketing Coordinators.


The ideal candidate

  • Tertiary qualification marketing or similar
  • 1-2 years working experience and passion for the marketing industry with an interest in health, wellbeing, recreation and sports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation
  • A passion for delivering engaging social media content
  • Process driven with strong administrative skills
  • Working understanding of Microsoft Suite
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of working with website content management systems (CMS) (Kentico, WordPress CMS knowledge highly regarded) - Not essential
  • Knowledge of working with email and social media marketing tools (Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp) - Not essential
  • Understanding of digital marketing landscape and trends
  • Australian Resident
