About the Role This is a unique opportunity, guided by a strong Ngati Whakaue Maori cultural story to establish a world class Spa and Wellness facility. Kaupapa Ngati Whakaue Maori principles, (manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and aroha) underpin the Spa’s unique ‘point of difference’ and authenticity. The role of the Maintenance Officer is to perform all maintenance requirements and procedures to protect the assets, ensure maximum efficiency, maintain customer service levels and minimise disruptions to guests. The hours of work would be 10pm - 8:30am per shift which will include some weekend works over the roster period. Key Accountabilities - Perform preventative and routine maintenance requirements in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Complete response maintenance requirements as required.
- Complete geothermal and pool processes each evening, ensuring timely opening of the pools each day.
- Complete cleaning duties as per the standard operating procedures, and assist with response cleaning and deep cleaning duties as and when required.
- Liaise with building service suppliers and maintenance contractors as required.
- Monitor and report on the condition and maintenance of the building, plant and fixtures, and safety equipment.
Essential - Current drivers license.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- NZ Police check
Desirable - First Aid Certificate.
- Trade qualification.
- Pool management experience and/or relevant qualification.
