About the Seasonal Pool

Belgravia Leisure operates 3 iconic facilities within the Swan Hill region. A position currently exists for a Centre Manager at the Swan Hill Outdoor Pool as part of Belgravia Leisure's contract with Swan Hill Rural City Council.

The Role

Responsible for the stewardship of these seasonal facilities, the team and our local community, You are fully accountable for the center’s operational, financial and program deliverables. You will develop and execute plans through engagement with the center’s leadership team. With a successful track record in marketing, sales, and project management you will continue to develop the Centre’s relationship with the Community, and all other stakeholders to drive the center’s overall success through the engagement and development of its people. 

This role is a 5 month contract, with the opportunity to continue at one of our year round sites. Summer season, November 2024 - March 2025

About You

You will be a truly seasoned and professional manager, who leads with vision and energy. A true people leader, you will be able to share insights into how you have successfully shaped high performance teams in your career. You can easily articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.

Skills and Experience:

• Highly developed performance coaching abilities.
• Extensive experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.
• Demonstrative experience leading a dynamic and complex business operation, preferably in the leisure industry or hospitality.
• Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Desirable:

• • Previous experience (2 to 5 years) in pool or aquatic management
  • Qualifications in First Aid, CPR, Working with Children is preferred, though can be arranged for a highly desirable candidate
