This is a great opportunity for swim school leader looking for the next step in their career moving into an Assistant Centre Manager, this role is ideally for someone who enjoys swimming, love working with children & wants to lead a team and teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

 

As a key member of our Centre’s Leadership Team, the Assistant Centre Manager will be the first point of contact for learn to swim program.

 

The Role

You will have a passion for swimming and the progression of students. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun, with a flair for working with children. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure swim school members, patrons and parents are gaining maximum benefit and enjoyment from the services provided.

 

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

 

Prior experience Aquatics would be advantageous. Proven team leader or people management and have an overall ability to lead, motivating a team and developing others.

 

If you have excellent customer service skills, sales, and the ability to achieve targets and key performance indicators.

 

Our leader demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and ability to accept feedback. You will need to also have an understanding of WHS and risk including the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and NSW Health regulations. 

 

Essential qualifications:

  • Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate

  • Royal Life Saving Pool Operations Certificate

  • AUSTSWIM Certificate (Teaching of water swimming and water safety or equivalent)

  • Previous Swim School or Leisure Supervisor Experience

  • National Police Check

  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent)

  • Level 2 First Aid and current CPR

  •  Legally entitled to work in Australia
