Featuring every aspect of exercise from weights to cardio, swimming or dance, boxing to cycling. The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Group Fitness Manager to work with our great team to head up the group exercise department in our club. Group Fitness is very important to Genesis Fitness as we are the leading providers in Group Exercise in Australia. Reporting to the Club Manager, you deliver quality group fitness programs with the instructors, and oversee the timetable by meeting the needs of the members. - The ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Have an understanding of the programs and the timetable and develop the classes.
- Ability to recruit instructors.
- Monitor existing instructors to be successful in the club.
- Help develop instructors training
- Able to relate well with staff and members.
Skills & Attributes: - A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, or Group Exercise Instructor (GEI).
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Reformer Pilates, Yoga, Mat Pilates etc )
- Working with Children's Check
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
