Manning Aquatic & Leisure Centre has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Gym Instructor.

The Role

We are looking for a committed and passionate Cert IV trainer who is a dynamic fitness professional who holds a min Cert IV qualification. An individual who is committed to delivering high levels of customer service and support to our members who can deliver personal training to members on an as needs basis. This role may or may not include group fitness classes. The successful candidate must be available for PM and AM shifts. 

There will be an option to engage in group fitness classes. Afternoon shifts to begin, with a possibility of morning shifts to cover gym floor supervision. There is also an opportunity for you to build your own PT base and even run some group fitness classes.  Group Fitness qualifications highly regarded.

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of current health & fitness procedures and practices.
• Personal Training with a variety of different clientele.
• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills.
• Minimum Cert IV in Personal Training
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Valid Working With Children Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
