The Role

 

The Program Coordinator plays a key role in the heart of our operations — supporting program delivery, managing coaches, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring our classes, teams, and events run smoothly.

 

You'll work closely with the Gym Manager and coaching team to:

  • Coordinate day-to-day programming, including team rosters, classes and events - Support athlete progression and program consistency across all levels
  • Help implement MCA curriculum, skill tracking and choreography planning
  • Lead with a child-safe mindset, positive energy, and an eye for detail
  • Contribute to team selection, try-outs, and coach mentoring
  • Be on the floor where it counts — coaching, leading, and creating an awesome training environment!

We’re Looking for someone who:

  • Loves cheer and has a solid foundation in coaching across levels and age groups
  • Is confident managing people, planning schedules and communicating clearly with staff and families
  • Knows how to balance administrative organisation with on-the-floor leadership -
  • Brings great vibes to our gym and leads with professionalism, positivity and accountability
  • Is motivated, collaborative and calm under pressure — even during comp season!

Essential

  • Current National Police Check (you must be willing to obtain a police check as part of the onboarding process)
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR
  • IASF Coaching Qualifications (Level 3 minimum, Level 6 preferred)
  • Available for evening and weekend work
