This is a rare opportunity to oversee a large, multi-purpose facility in Sydney’s vibrant southwest, delivering outstanding programs and services that enhance community health and wellbeing. About the RoleAs Venue Manager, you’ll be fully accountable for the centre’s operations, financial performance, and program delivery. You’ll drive exceptional customer service, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure safety, inclusion, and engagement across all programs and services. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing a high-performing, community-focused team Overseeing financial, operational, and risk management outcomes Driving participation across aquatic, fitness, gymnastics, stadium, and community programs Building strong relationships with Council and key stakeholders Ensuring compliance with safety, contract, and service standards Recruiting, training, and supporting staff to deliver excellence
About YouMinimum 5 years’ experience leading teams, with at least 2 years in leisure or aquatic facility management Strong business acumen with proven operational and financial management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Knowledge of health and safety legislation and local government processes Alignment with Belgravia values: integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership, and accountability Current (or willingness to obtain): Police Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid (Level 2), CPR, Pool Lifeguard certification
