The Role

The NSW Marketing Coordinator is the perfect role for a new marketing degree graduate that has completed an internship or is currently employed as a marketing assistant looking for the next career step.  In this role you will be guided and supported by the Group Marketing Manager and will have the opportunity to further develop your marketing skills.

You will be responsible for the execution of the marketing and communications plans for over 20 leading leisure centres in NSW including Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre, Michael Clarke Recreation Centre and Whitlam Leisure Centre to name a few.

You will assist with the day to day marketing functions of these leisure centres, their launch and events programs, with a particular focus on:

  • Promotional collateral development
  • Lead generation and planning
  • Online communications and social media
  • General marketing and communication activities and advice for program coordinators
  • Marketing training workshop facilitation
  • Reporting



  • Degree in Marketing.
  • Previous work experience / internship in a marketing role
  • Good understanding of how to write strategic marketing plans and in segmentation marketing
  • Good understanding of social media marketing, content creation and advertising
  • Team player
  • Can work in an agile environment
  • Driver’s license and car ownership
  • National Police Check Clearance
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Current First Aid
  • Current CPR



  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing
  • Good understanding of Digital Marketing (including content management, SEO, SEM, Social Media)
  • Understanding of strategic communications and PR
