Our Company Genesis Fitness Clubs are part of the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG) which is one the fastest growing leisure organisations in Australia. BHLG is comprised of multiple business, our core areas of business include health clubs, tourism, wellness, destination spa reports, golf, aquatic, and sporting venues in over 250 locations across Australia and New Zealand (and expanding). We are in an exciting period of growth and looking for talented people to assist with taking our organisation into the future. The Role The National Group Fitness Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the Group Fitness strategy across Genesis Health + Fitness clubs nationally. This role will be working closely with the company staff as well as with key stakeholders including joint venture partners and franchisees. As National Group Fitness Manager, you’ll: - Develop and implement strategies to drive Group Fitness participation on a national level.
- Deliver training and development to support the growth and execution of the Group Fitness strategy.
- Develop resources to support Instructors, Group Fitness Managers, Club Managers, Franchisee's and regional fitness team members to implement best practice and provide exceptional member experience.
- Monitor performance metrics and member feedback to guide ongoing improvements.
- Develop and manage member engagement initiatives.
- Implement national recruitment initiatives and develop resources to assist clubs in recruiting talent.
About you You’re a passionate fitness leader with: - 5+ years in fitness leadership, ideally at a regional or national level.
- 5+ years in group fitness management.
- Proven experience in strategy development and execution.
- Extensive experience delivering high quality and engaging training and development sessions to large groups
- Deep knowledge of the fitness industry, group fitness trends and licensable programs.
- Fantastic leader and coach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Fitness, and at least 2 group fitness modules (E.G. BodyPump, Mat Pilates).
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Ability to travel interstate.
