VIC, Keilor East Leisure Centre - Keilor East 3033 The Role The Aquatic Operations Coordinator primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements. Skills & Attributes: - Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
- Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Blue Card
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Pool Operations Certificate
Applicants with strong background in pool plant operation and maintenance will be highly regarded. About the Site The Keilor East Leisure Centre includes a number of facilities that will benefit many of the local community including 50m heated outdoor pool, 25m indoor lap pool, learn to swim pool, warm water program pool, spa, steam and sauna, as well as an indoor water playground for young children. There is also multi-purpose rooms for health and fitness classes, gym, wellness, café, family change rooms and creche, all with a high level of regard to disability access.
