This is a great opportunity for qualified, enthusiastic and skilled Aquatic Operations Coordinator to join the team and lead our aquatics team! The Role The Aquatic Operations Coordinator primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements. Skills & Attributes: - Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
- Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Pool Operations Certificate
This is a full-time position for the right candidate. About You You will have a passion for swimming and the progression of students. You have strong communication skills that build rapport and positive relationships with people and a commitment to customer service excellence. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Swim School environment and demonstrated ability to lead a team. You possess values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect leadership and accountability and must be able to run swim classes in the absence of a swim teacher. About the Qualifications - National Police Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Working With Children Check (or equivalent)
- Current Swim Teaching Certificate
- Swim Teaching extension certificates (desirable but not essential)
- Previous Swim School Coordinator Experience
- Strong people leadership with an ability to inspire others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Legally entitled to work in Australia
