We’re seeking a proactive and community-minded Marketing Coordinator to deliver engaging, inclusive and impactful marketing across six iconic leisure and aquatic facilities within the Merri-bek City Council region.

About the Role

Reporting to the Marketing and Area Manager, you will coordinate and execute marketing and communications that drive participation, engagement and community connection.

You’ll be supporting both day-to-day marketing and major campaigns and work across multiple venues including;

• Pascoe Vale Outdoot Pool
• Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool
• Oak Park Sports & Aquatic Centre
• Fawkner Leisure Centre
• Coburg Leisure Centre
• Brunswick Baths
  
  

This is a hands-on role where you’ll bring strategy to life—managing social media, digital campaigns, communications, events and local marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted, community-focused marketing campaigns
• Manage social media channels, content calendars and engagement
• Execute marketing and communications plans across digital and on-site channels
• Coordinate campaigns, events and program launches
• Develop creative briefs and ensure brand consistency
• Support venue teams with local marketing execution and capability
• Monitor performance and optimise campaigns using data and insights

About You

You are an organised and adaptable marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

You will bring:

• 2–3 years’ experience in marketing or communications
• Strong writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing digital channels and campaigns
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities across locations
• A passion for community engagement, health and wellbeing
