Belgravia Health and Leisure Group proudly manage the City of Sydney's five Iconic Aquatic and fitness leisure centres (Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Cook and Phillip Park Fitness and Aquatic Centre, Andrew 'Boy' Charlton Pool, Victoria Park Swimming Pool and Prince Alfred Park Pool)

Attracting 1.8 million annual attendances, with more 10,000 membership subscriptions, the Centres an important role in connecting the Citys residents, workers and visitors to a diversified mix of industry leading recreational pursuits.


The Role  

Based at Cook & Phillip Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre, you will be reporting directly to the Area Sales and Customer Experience Manager. Your primary responsibilities include efficiently coordinating and managing the facility bookings including Aquatics, and stadium for the City of Sydney . You will coordinate bookings for each facility with external stakeholders and regular user groups. Working with the centralise admin team to ensure all bookings have been reconciled. You will also be responsible for overlooking and monitoring any overdue accounts. 


Key Accountabilities

  • Managing the end-to-end booking process – including outreach efforts, program promotion (cold calls and warm leads), qualifying leads, and arranging sessions and observations for Facilitators and other stakeholders.
  • Planning and Delivery of Competition Programs at City of Sydney Stadiums
  • Handling customer enquiries via emails and phone.
  • Maintenance of data integrity and accuracy for all sessions entered in Facility Bookings and Competition Software
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, organisations and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor monthly invoices with the centralised admin team
  • Liaise between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with operation and stadium coordinators to ensure daily booking calendar is available on site for duty managers.
  • Liaise with operation and stadium coordinators to ensure resources (i.e. extra staff) required for bookings are provided
  • Provide the highest level of customer service possible and to be friendly and helpful.
  • Excellent telephone Manner
  • Provide accurate information in person or in response to phone enquiries
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with customers
  • Administration and scheduling of bookings, including data entry and other ad hoc administration.
  • Ensure all over-spill enquiries have been handled with a successful outcome.
  • Ensure all enquire have been followed up with in two hour



  • Current Workplace First Aid Certificate
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Number
  • Previous admin and booking experience
  • Previous sales experience


  • Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role
