This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic Club Coordinator looking to lead our health club team and drive members achieve their goals.

Our core areas of business and facilities stewardship include health clubs, wellness and spa, golf, aquatic and sporting venues in 150 locations across Australia and New Zealand.

Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre contains a 1000m2 Health Club, two Group Fitness spaces and a range of cardio, strength and functional training equipment whilst hosting a membership base of 2500 Fitness members, upwards of 70 Group and Small Group Training classes and a strong team of Personal Trainers and Gym Floor staff. Included in this remit is the management of the Exercise Physiology services to our local community.

 

About You

 

The ideal applicant will possess the following experience / qualifications / skills:

  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role
  • Energetic, innovative and decisive leadership style
  • Target planning and monitoring experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of OHS and public safety applications in public buildings

Skills and Experience 

  • Certificate III in Fitness or higher
  • Good knowledge of health club protocols and customer expectations
  • Experience in managing conflict resolution and delivery of high level customer service
  • Experience in leading a team, managing rosters and employee relations as required
  • Understanding or experience with Allied Health sectors
  • First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
  • CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems
  • Fitness Australia (or equivalent) registration is desirable
  • National Criminal Records Check

Previous health club management experience is highly regarded!
