An exciting opportunity has come up for 2 x Centre Managers to join our team at some of Australia’s most picturesque and iconic Aquatic Venues.

We are seeking Centre Mangers to lead our teams at

Drummoyne Swimming Centre and Cabarita Swimming Pool

The Role

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 suitably qualified and experienced Centre Managers to lead the teams and deliver exceptional customer experience and operational excellence at Cabarita Swimming Pool and Drummoyne Swimming Centre. Belgravia Leisure, together with the Canada Bay Council are the proud management company for these two centres. 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors and employees through effective planning and oversight of polices, processes and procedures.
  • Accountable for the effective running of the facility’s operational functions
  • Coach and develop leaders to deliver on KPI's through engagement, performance planning and individual development plans.
  • Lead and drive a high performance community minded culture through highly visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
  • Achievement of budgeted performance targets.
  • Maintain a high value relationship with our council partner. 
  • Implement a high value customer service proposition that addresses the needs of the client base.
  • Recruitment of energetic, diverse and passionate employees as required
  • Train staff as required to ensure that knowledge and capability are at the required levels to enable staff to carry out their work and achieve their objectives.
  • Maintain facilities to approved standards in line with contract requirements.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Legal working rights in Australia
  • Pool Life Guard Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)

Desirable:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in aquatic operations
  • Pool Operators Certificate
  • Experience managing or supervising an aquatic facility
  • Swim School processes and knowledge
