  • Fixed Part time position (min 15 hours per week)
  • Supported by our Business Systems Manager
  • Approx contract period: 10th June 2019 - 10th January 2020

 

The Role
 
This position will provide system administration and support to all sites and head office of Belgravia Leisure. The Systems Administration Officer is responsible for the implementation, upkeep, reliable and consistent configuration of relevant Point of Sale (POS) software. You will maintain the integrity of the POS database(s) through adequate security management and by following the directives of the Business Systems Manager. The Systems Administration Officer will ensure that systems operate to the highest capabilities in order to achieve business objectives. This role will also require you to assist with integrations between POS and other software systems utilised by the organisation.
 

The position is primarily located at our Bayswater head office however working remotely some of the time is a possibility. Some site visits may be required for time to time for projects, integrations, training, site set up and or meetings

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Data entry to manage the integrity of the database(s), maintain security groups and authorities in the Company’s POS software solutions(s).
  • Facilitate Operational and Centre/Facility requests in a timely manner to meet the admin Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide support to staff at all sites and head office, including training users and developing work instructions.
  • Perform installation, setup, configuration and administration for all aspects of the POS software solution(s), and other peripheral systems and hardware related to or integrated with the POS software.
  • Assist the Business Systems Manager with projects related to the POS software and database(s), including but not limited to integrations.
  • Ensure all POS software updates and corresponding changes are completed and communicated to the Company.
  • Deliver the upkeep and consistent configuration of the POS solution(s) to ensure the consistency and standardised use of the software solution(s).
  • Liaise with third parties and vendors / software providers to seek support for the POS software.
  • Audit sites and the database(s) to ensure compliance with organisational wide system initiatives.

  • Current First Aid
  • Current CPR
  • Current Working with Children's check

 

DESIRABLE:

  • Operational experience in a Leisure Centre.
  • Experience completing administration tasks in the Company’s POS software solution(s).
  • Ability to communicate issues with POS in plain language to non-technical people.
