Belgravia Leisure New Zealand may have a short term management cover position in the Eastern Bay of Plenty region.

This role would suit an aspiring manager with strong knowledge of pool operations including pool water and solid knowledge of swimming and water safety.

As a hands on manager you will be responsible and accountable for the management and operation of this key community facility. You will use your exceptional leadership skills to motivate a large team of professionals dedicated to serving the wider community through the provision of programmes, activities, and facilities. You will have overall responsibility for the customer experience and stakeholder relationships.

The ideal applicant will possess the following experience / qualifications / skills:

• High level of business acumen
• Ability to coach, develop and mentor staff
• Practical knowledge of business planning, monitoring and operational management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of OHS and public safety applications in public buildings
• Strong competence in Microsoft Office Suite
• Energetic, innovative and inclusive leadership style

Essential

• Pool lifeguard qualification
• Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
• Working with Children's Check
• National New Zealand Police Check
• Level 2 First Aid
• Current CPR 

You can be expected to be paid an attractive remuneration for this seconded role that would potentially last between two and three months. Commencing early July 2019.
