Dickson Aquatic Centre is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Aquatic Operations Coordinator to join our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an aquatic professional who is passionate about safety, risk management and operational excellence. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant and welcoming environment for our staff, members and visitors. 

About the Role
As the Aquatic Operations Coordinator, you will support the Centre Manager in delivering safe and efficient aquatic operations while driving a strong culture of workplace health and safety. This is a full time permanent role. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate hazard prevention and safety initiatives across the facility.
• Conduct hazard inspections, risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor safety, risk and environmental performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Support incident and accident investigations.
• Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and operational at all times.
• Maintain accurate compliance and safety records.

About You
You are a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced aquatic environment and understands the importance of safety, compliance and exceptional customer service.

To be successful, you will have:

Essential Requirements

• Current Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
• National Police Check.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of WHS/OHS legislation and requirements.

Desirable

• Pool Operator Qualification.
• Occupational Health & Safety qualification or training.
