We're on the look out for an energetic, suitably qualified, motivated Group Fitness Instructor to teach strength and conditioning to large groups. The Role Seeking a skilled Group Fitness Instructor with diverse experience in freestyle formatting. Our ideal candidate will be able to create effective and engaging sessions for groups of 10 or more people, that focus on fun and social interaction. Ability to correct technique, provide modifications and cater to a diverse range of abilities and ages is essential. Essential - Min Cert III in Fitness (or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year experience teaching groups.
- Must be available evenings after 5pm and weekends.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Be prepared to undergo a National Police check as part of recruitment process.
Desireable - Ausactive or Physical Activity Australia registration.
- Les Mills Pump and/or Body Balance.
- Aerobics or exercise to music backround.
Skills & Attributes - Applicant must have freestyle experience and creative flare, and have the ability to modify group classes for those with common musculoskeletal injuries.
- Strong understading of human movement is required.
- Experience in a setting that delivers high intensity functional training is ideal.
