Centre Manager - Keilor East Leisure Centre, Keilor East 3033

Lead one of Melbourne's premier aquatic and recreation facilities! Belgravia Leisure is seeking an exceptional and experienced Centre Manager to lead the operations, people, and performance of the Keilor East Leisure Centre in partnership with Moonee Valley City Council. 

About the Role: 

Keilor East Leisure Centre is a vibrant community destination that plays an important role in improving the health, wellbeing and connection of the Moonee Valley community. As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, developing future leaders, driving financial and operational performance, and building strong partnerships with Council, local stakeholders and community groups. You'll lead a diverse team of operational and people leaders, creating an environment where staff thrive, guests feel welcome and the community remains at the centre of every decision. Leading a passionate and diverse team, you will create a culture of safety, accountability and service excellence while ensuring the centre continues to deliver meaningful participation and community outcomes aligned with the vision of a healthy and active community. 

About the Venue: 

Keilor East Leisure Centre is a state-of-the-art aquatic and recreation facility servicing one of Melbourne's most diverse and growing communities. The centre features:

• 50m heated outdoor pool, 25m indoor lap pool, Learn to Swim pool and warm water program pool
• Spa, steam room and sauna
• Indoor water playground for young children
• Fully equipped gym and wellness facilities
• Multipurpose group fitness and community spaces
• Café, creche and family change facilities
• Strong accessibility and inclusion features throughout the venue
   

The Opportunity:

• Lead and inspire a large and diverse team across aquatic operations, health and wellbeing, customer experience and support services.
• Drive a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability and service excellence.
• Deliver strong financial outcomes through effective planning, forecasting and operational management.
• Build meaningful relationships with Moonee Valley City Council, community groups, schools, sporting clubs and key stakeholders.
• Ensure the venue consistently exceeds expectations across safety, compliance, customer experience and asset presentation.
• Identify opportunities to grow participation, memberships, programs and community impact.
• Develop future leaders through coaching, development planning and succession pathways.
• Lead the delivery of strategic initiatives that support community health and wellbeing outcomes.
