This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy swimming, love working with people, who want to teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

The Role

The Learn To Swim Instructor provides swimming lessons to groups, schools, and individuals within swimming program guidelines in a safe, fun and educational environment in which students progressively learn to swim.

No qualifications required, we will put you through training!

The role will also require the success Swim Teacher to undertake administrative tasks to assist the Venue Manager.These include and are not limited to: assisting with parent inquires relating to their child's swimming progress and other administrative assistant duties. 

Skills & Attributes:

• Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• Ability to use the computer

Essential Requirements

• National Police / Criminal History Check
• Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check

Desirable Criteria

• First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Qualified Swim Teacher Certificate
