About the Seasonal Pool

Belgravia Leisure operates 5 iconic facilities within the Indigo region. A position currently exists for a Centre Manager at the Yackandandah Swimming Pool as part of Belgravia Leisure's partnership with Indigo Shire Council.

The Role

You are fully accountable for the venues operational, financial and program deliverables. You will develop and execute plans through engagement with your team and the community. With a successful track record in aquatic operations, financial management, staff recruitment and safety, you will continue to develop the Centre’s relationship with the Community, and all other stakeholders to drive the overall success through the engagement and development of its people. 

This is a season pool - open from Nov 2026 to April 2027

About You

You will be a truly seasoned and professional manager, who leads with vision and energy. A true people leader, you will be able to share insights into how you have successfully shaped team performance in your career. You can easily articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.

Skills and Experience:

• Highly developed performance coaching abilities.
• Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.
• Demonstrative experience leading a complex business operation, preferably in the leisure industry or hospitality.
• Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Desirable:

• Previous experience (2 to 5 years) in an aquatic or leisure leadership role.
• Qualifications in Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, Working with Children is preferred, though can be arranged for a highly desirable candidate.
